Information about oman

Sultanate of Oman is an Arab country located in south-east of the Arabian Peninsula in southwest Asia. Have a common border with the north-west of the United Arab Emirates and to the west with Saudi Arabia and from the south-west Yemen. Beach with a length of approximately 1700 meters overlooking the Arabian Sea and Arabian Gulf.


Location:

Sultanate of Oman is located in the extreme south-east of the Arabian peninsula and extends between latitudes 40 '16 and 20' 26 N and between longitude 50 '51 and 40' 59 east, a coastline stretching 3,200 kilometers from the Strait of Hormuz in the north to the border of the Republic of Yemen , and thus overlooking three seas: the Arabian Gulf, Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea. It is bounded to the west of the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Yemen on the south and north the Strait of Hormuz, and on the east Arabian Sea.

Weather:

Different climate in the country from one region to another, in the coastal areas are warm humid weather in the summer, while we find a warm dry home, with the exception of some places where the air moderately high throughout the year. In the southern region, we find that a more moderate climate. The rainfall in the Sultanate of Oman are few and irregular, in general, however, sometimes it rains heavily, with the exception of Dhofar province, where rain and it rains regularly in the period between June and October due to monsoon.
